Full title

Loot Goblin: I Choked on a $1.50 Glizzy Combo and Reincarnated as the Hero Party's Loot Goblin

Dig through a real, physical hoard one piece at a time, and be gone before its owners come home.

Woodcut-style poster of the Chosen Ones posing heroically on a rock under a red sunburst: a wizard, a crowned hero pointing a sword, a priestess and a hooded barbarian with an axe. Below them a hunched goblin roadie staggers along with buckets and an overloaded pack. Key art · PNG ↓

Short description

You choked on a $1.50 glizzy combo and woke up as the goblin roadie for the Chosen Ones, a famous and useless hero party. Now you rob hoards for them. Every coin is a real object, and there is no inventory.

Long description

Loot Goblin is a cleanup game with a twist. The mess is a hoard, the hoard is worth money, and the people it belongs to are on their way back. Tens of thousands of pieces sit in the pile, each one simulated on its own. Take one and it stays taken. The heap gets smaller because you made it smaller.

There is no inventory. You pick up each piece, carry it or throw it, and it only counts once it lands in the wagon. A bucket helps. So do a shovel and a wheelbarrow. Later, so do powder kegs, a crane, and something called the Arcane Sucking Device.

The first job is a goblin camp in a bog, where the heap is mostly goblin droppings with a fleck of gold in each one. The war band comes home sooner if they hear you. After that, a dragon's cave. Between jobs you sell the haul in Yonderburg, buy tools, and give some of it back at the Iron Hog's roulette table.

Features

  1. 01

    The pile is real

Tens of thousands of individually simulated pieces. Nothing is faked or swapped for a smaller mesh. What is left in the heap is your progress bar.

  2. 02

    No inventory

Pick it up, carry it, throw it. Nothing counts until it is in the wagon. A coin you dropped on the path is a coin lying on the path.

  3. 03

    Dig deeper, find better

Coins on top. Gems, chalices and crowns further down. Something large and suspicious at the very bottom.

  4. 04

    Leave before they get back

There is no countdown. The owners come home when they come home, and the goblin war band comes home sooner if you are loud about it.

  5. 05

A shed full of bad ideas

Bucket, shovel, pitchfork, rake, wheelbarrows, push broom and dustpan, powder kegs, the Poop Packer, the Lodestone Crane and the Arcane Sucking Device.

  6. 06

    Hired help

Wetson is a drunk wizard gnome who will carry things for money. El Gordo is a bog newt who eats goblin droppings and turns them into bricks you can sell. Both are better at this than you.

  7. 07

    Two hoards so far

A goblin camp in a bog, then a dragon's cave. In between there is Yonderburg, the Iron Hog tavern, and a quest board that keeps finding you work.

  8. 08

    Roadie for the Chosen Ones

They are famous. They are on posters. They have never once carried their own bags. That is your job now, along with everything else.
